Roberto Goizueta was a Cuban immigrant, former CEO of Coca-Cola, and the namesake of Emory’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, GA. This was a highly principled individual who left behind an enormous legacy and changed the face of Atlanta as a community and business hub. To honor the 25th anniversary of the naming of the school, we wrote a book to commemorate him, all rooted in the simple concept that the Goizueta Effect—his effect—lives on today.
This 80-page endeavor was a journey. We interviewed family, friends and colleagues of Mr. Goizueta—includling billionaires Warren Buffet and Herb Allen. It was an honor to be invited into the personal lives and memories of Mr. Goizueta., and a learning experience to create a book from scratch.
